Basic Purpose: The Paraprofessional is responsible for providing assistance to teaching staff in standard academic or commercial subjects, and to students in daily classroom activities or daily living skills in a state school, hospital, facility or institution. Key Responsibilities: Communications: Establishes and maintains effective educational relationships with students and teachers. Communicates high expectations for all students. Promotes a positive environment and exchanges ideas. Substitute in Classrooms: Maintains classroom management in accordance with OYACS standards.
