Maintenance Specialist, Campus Recreation - UT Chattanooga

Job description

The Senior Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the general maintenance, development, and care of over 100,000 square feet of space in the Aquatic and Recreation Center and the equipment and University assets assigned to the Campus Recreation department. The position will conduct regular inspections, perform preventative maintenance and repairs, coordinate and oversee work of contractors, prepare for events, respond to work orders, and work with departmental staff to identify, prioritize and complete projects. Responsible for maintaining water quality, filtration and sanitation for the recreation pool and spa. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain Campus Recreation Assets: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the Aquatic and Recreation Center building features, departmental equipment and University assets assigned to the Campus Recreation Department. Recommend repairs, develop the scope for projects, coordinate and oversee the work of contractors, and work with other departments to ensure all work orders are completed.
