Infusion Pharmacy Services Coordinator - Full-Time - Day

Schedule Full-Time: 40 Hours/Weekly: Between the hours of 8am - 6pm, Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm, Saturday and Sunday on a rotating schedule. General Summary: In partnership with Team Pharmacists, provides outstanding customer service and support to the patient, pharmacy staff, and patient medical providers. Processes orders, ensures the patient has all supplies and equipment needed for service, and arranges/coordinates the delivery of home infusion medications and supplies to the patient's residence, ensuring all billing paperwork is present prior to delivery. Essential Functions: - Organizes daily activities including patient work and phone call order. - Makes initial patient contact for new referrals. Explains WellSpan Infusion services, patient expectations and patient anticipated financial responsibility. - Coordinates delivery services and communicates delivery information effectively to patients, caregivers, nurses, pharmacists and distribution personnel. - Under Pharmacist supervision, processes new orders, creates delivery ticket, pulls required pump if appropriate and updates order expiration dates. - Enters Medical information into patient record in Pharmacy system i...
