Overview HD Biosciences, Inc. (San Diego), a WuXi AppTec Company, is expanding its in vitro Pharmacology. We’re seeking highly skilled and motivated Scientist II to lead assay development projects and support target discovery and validation efforts for HTS and assay screening group. Responsibilities: Job Requirements: • Design, implement, and perform projects for functional assay development. • Proven hands-on experience with cell based assays and biochemical assays.• Support target discovery and validation efforts by independently developing and performing assays to evaluate biologic drug targets and candidates, such as GPCR, Ion-channels, Enzymatic assay, kinase assays, etc.• Develop assays in biochemical and cell based formats that are suitable for SAR screening in 96 or 384-well formats.• Deep understanding of molecular biology and cell biology and experience in mammalian cell culture and compound handling techniques.• Experience with methods such as luminescence, fluorescence, absorbance and radiometric detection is preferred• Scientific creativity, critical thinking and fast learning capabilities.• Industrial drug R& D experience is a plus • Effectively communicate with inter...
