Schedule Part Time: 36 Hours/Biweekly: Hours: 5:30am - 2:00pm or 2:00pm - 6:00pm Every Other Weekend and Holiday, Required General Summary: Prepares and processes computerized patient menus via telephone and maintains patient nutrition records and related reports. Duties and Responsibilities: - Manages a high volume of fast paced incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, and/or representatives and healthcare providers. Provides exceptional customer service by addressing patient needs and communications with health care providers in a professional, positive and caring manner. - Maintains confidential patient records in the diet office software. Enters food dislike and intolerances, supplements, nourishments and tube feedings and documents pertinent patient. diet and food information in the Diet progress auxiliary screen to ensure consistent and comprehensive patient care. - Verifies diet orders and allergies in Epic as indicated. - Has direct communication with the patient and /or a patient representative to obtain patient meal selections. - Determines patients need for paper rather than verbal meal selection process. - Using the nutritional guidelines in the Academy of Nutriti...
