POSITION SUMMARY: The BJU Press Employee Experience Specialist shares a passion for people and hospitality. In this role, you support a high-quality employee experience by organizing events and programs including new employee onboarding and orientation, employee celebrations, and service awards. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support overarching people strategies by influencing and delivering key tactics including employee gifts, programs, and events. - Plan and manage event logistics at the direction of the Director of Culture & Engagement - Manage the internal BJU Press event calendar - Create and communicate event schedules and plans and pertinent information to employees, managers, and key points of contact - Participate in team settings and lead meetings that include members of the following internal functions: Culture & Engagement, Marketing Events, Public Relations, and Marketing Research & Analysis - Liaise with department managers to deliver a high-quality new employee experience - Lead the new employee orientation program - Manage procurement and purchasing for employee gifts and giveaways - Support employee recognition programs - Support scheduling and equipmen...
