Position Overview: - Department: Acute Rehab Services - Schedule: PRN - Work Location: UAB St Vincent's Birmingham - Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist. - Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist. - Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population. - Document treatment interventions given. - May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel. What You Will Need: Education: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted. Required - Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
