Min USD $17.14/Hr. Max: USD $26.56/Hr. Overview: ****Up to $5,000.00 Sign-On Bonus**** The In-Patient Phlebotomist role Performs venipuncture, capillary and arterial collections (arterial after 1 yr experience) on infants, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Assist in the reception area with clerical duties. Inventory and request phlebotomy as well as other needed supplies. Education: Experience: Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Working Conditions-Physical Requirements & Atmosphere: - High School diploma or equivalent required. - Phlebotomy experience preferred. - Demonstrates the ability to read, write and perform math functions. - Has pleasant, outgoing personality. - Demonstrates proper verbal communication skills and manual dexterity. - Physical requirements include bending, stooping, reaching, and carrying objects that may weigh up to 50 lbs. - Age Specific Competence Requirement: Specimens are obtained from infants, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. - Potential exposure to infectious diseases. - Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens and body fluids.
