- Location: Windsor, ON, Canada - Compensation: $45,000 annually - Job Type: Full-Time - Schedule: Monday to Friday Job Overview: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing preventative building maintenance for the assigned apartment buildings while providing great customer service to tenants. Qualifications: - Perform necessary maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting) in occupied units. Complete and submit accurate maintenance log and time sheet. Clean and repair items in vacant or turnover units, including repairs like leaky taps, faucet change and door lock change. - Regularly clean common areas, including stairwells, hallways, and elevators, and ensure all lighting, emergency signs, and fire extinguishers are functional. Keep storage and boiler rooms clean, shovel and salt walkways, and manage garbage. Complete monthly inspections, painting and repair tasks on time. - Performing physically demanding tasks using ladders and power tools, while applying knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems. - Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent and minimum two (2) years’ experience in HVAC equipment, BAS, and FAS in Class A resid...
