SEL Site Manager - Learn & Earn Program

Job description

Summary of Position : The SEL Site Manager supports with ensuring participants of the After School Matters’ Learn and Earn programs have a safe and positive experience in Learn and Earn building sites and during Learn and Earn events. The SEL Site Manager will also support program implementation and quality by providing SEL support and daily lessons to the teens. There are 5 vacancies. These temporary positions are scheduled to work 20-25 hours per week for 6 weeks, plus 20 hours of paid training. These roles are scheduled to start June 2026 and conclude around mid-August 2026. The schedule is 9:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Thursday with occasional Friday or evening meetings. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with program partners, instructors, and teens Provide SEL-focused trainings for teachers and L&E staff Develop customized action plans for teens experiencing behavioral issues Help develop a summer disciplinary system that is shared out with parents, teens, and staff Conduct classroom lessons (ex: problem solving, self-management, self-awareness, etc.) Provide SEL and mental health resources to teens and staff Coordinate referrals to internal a...
