General Purpose and Scope of the Position: The Director of Student Accounts reports to the Student Financials Systems Architect and is responsible for the effective and efficient management of student financial transactions, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and service excellence. This position oversees the administration of Veteran and Military Benefits funding, Skills Training Workforce Ready Grant funding, student refund processing, and payment reconciliation. The Director ensures student accounts are managed in strict adherence to college policies, state and federal regulations, and audit requirements. This role provides day-to-day direction to the Assistant Director of Student Accounts and collaborates with key campus departments to resolve issues, implement process improvements, and streamline operations for optimal student financial services.
