Essential Job Duties: - Perform regular preventative maintenance and emergency/unscheduled repairs on plant facilities, equipment, and machinery, primary focus will be on electrical and controls, AC and DC circuits, VFD’s and instrumentation but may also include assisting with mechanical repairs on pumps, gearboxes, augers, grinders, mixers, conveyors, filling machines and sealers. - Assemble, install and/or repair electrical on three phase and single-phase AC and DC equipment. - Perform electrical diagnostics and assist with mechanical diagnostics with use of multimeters, meggers, calibration tools, and ladder / block logic within PLC programs. Replace or repair defective equipment and parts - Perform minor building repair and upkeep - Diagnose electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary - Inspect, operate, and test plant facilities, equipment, and machinery as required - Procure and maintain an optimum inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies adequately organized in storage - Calibrate instruments, scales, meters and other equipment as required to keep plant equipment functioning. - Ability to be...
