Milk Bank Technician

Job description

We are searching for a Milk Bank Technician -- someone to store, prepare and deliver a mother's breast milk and/or pasteurized donor human milk to hospitalized infants. To provide assistance to mothers of hospitalized infants expressing milk for their infants in a manner appropriate and as necessary. Think you’ve got what it takes - Knowledge of milk collection, storage, preparation, measurement, and sanitary techniques Minimum Qualifications: ** an associate degree or a bachelor's degree in nutrition or a Healthcare related field can substitute for 6 months experience** - High school graduate, GED, or equivalent - 6 months healthcare-related work experience Responsibilities: "As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
