Description SUMMARY: As a CNC Horizontal Machinist III, you will be required to set-up and run the most complex proven or new parts. May assist programmer, department lead or supervisor in the development of new processes. Weekend shift hours: Friday Shift - 12:30 pm to 1:00 am Sat and Sun Shift - 11:30 am to 12:00 am JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers. - Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings and related technical data. - Participate in the quotation process and process development as required - Program, set-up, and run all facets of work assigned - Develop fixtures as needed Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and safe work environment. - Receive daily instructions from Production Supervisor and plan day accordingly using the “Shop Floor Control System”. - Meet job standard times consistently and communicated to lead or supervisor when not. - Confer with Team Leaders and Programmers regarding drawings, sketches, and design data of a part to - determine dimension and configuration of tool path(s) - Must be familiar with the Rotary and Indexing capability as the application applies to all the Machine Centers. - Use machine...
