Description Position available: Rotating 1st/2nd shift with rotating weekends/holidays. The Maintenance Worker reforms a wide variety of routine-to-skilled general preventive maintenance duties in the repair, maintenance, and modification of buildings, equipment, and facilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Performs routine maintenance and repairs on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc. 2. Maintains and repairs sump and ejector pumps. Uses power rod equipment to clear clogged lines of debris. Repairs and installs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, faucets and toilets. Cut, thread, and/or solder pipe. 3. Conducts troubleshooting of minor electrical problems such as blown fuses and short circuits. Troubleshoots and replaces switches and ballasts and other electrical components. Reads and interprets minor electrical schematics. 4. Maintains and repairs all mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, air compressors, kitchen equipment, and grounds equipment. 5.
