Title: Academic Advisor Department: Academic & Transfer Advising: Campus Location: Arnold/Main Campus: Salary Range: $59,092 - $73,865: Work Mode: This position requires regular in-person presence on campus and at alternative locations, depending on class schedule and other assigned duties. Hours Per Week: 40: Work Schedule: Position Type: Full-Time Staff, Exempt Position Summary: Academic Advisors are responsible for guiding and assisting students in the development of educational, career, and transfer plans through the assimilation of information from a variety of digital sources, including course selection, interpretation of academic rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and intervention and referral to appropriate services and resources. Academic advisors are expected to be proficient with online tools and current technology, and to stay up to date with holistic advising strategies as they work to assist students in accomplishing their goals.
