Job description

Position Summary A Material Specialist Warehouse worker will receive, inventory, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other construction related item in a warehouse, storage area, and/or lie down the yard. Qualification Highlights: Must have 5+ years of experience working in an industrial warehouse. Must have 2+ years’ experience working for an industrial construction project in the warehouse or equivalent material handler position Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions Must be able to meet all physical requirements. Must have reliable transportation. Position Responsibilities: Receive and count stock items, and turn in packaging slip to materials clerk with the accurate material count. Unpack delivered goods and store in appropriate location until issue. Notify appropriate department when ordered item has arrived or deliver to appropriate department. Maintain inventory control by continuous tracking and inventory updates. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
