Overview Department: Coronary Care Unit (CCU): Shift: Full-Time, Day12-Hour Shift/ Rotating Weekend Hospital: Central Maine Medical Center: Location: Lewiston, ME: The CCU Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct, high-quality patient care to adults with cardiac conditions in the Coronary Care Unit. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to monitor cardiac status, respond to changes in patient condition, and implement evidence-based interventions. Collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team, directs patient and family education, supervises other nursing personnel, and ensures CCU standards of care, patient safety, and confidentiality are consistently maintained.
