D owner has a long- term opportunity for a safety professional to join our team based out of Underdale, South Australia. As a Safety Advisor, you will actively support, coach, mentor and provide technical advice to internal stakeholders. This dynamic role offers a blend of site-based and office exposure, with a strong focus on fostering collaboration to achieve our Safety objectives, while also contributing to business innovation. Key responsibilities: - Coach operational teams on risk management—facilitating risk assessments, SWMS, and critical risk controls, and stopping work where immediate risks exist. - Plan and deliver internal audits and site inspections; support external ISO/third‑party audits and close out findings. - Lead and support incident reporting and investigations, and drive timely, effective corrective actions with a focus on hard controls. - Maintain high-quality Zero Harm data and reporting. - Monitor legislation and standards, communicate changes, and ensure compliance with The Downer Standard and relevant WHS/OHS frameworks. - Support return‑to‑work and injury management...
