It's more than a career, it's a calling MO-SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Jefferson City Worker Type: PRN Job Highlights: Department: Retail Pharmacy Schedule: PRN, Day Shift, Work as Needed, No Weekends or Holidays Operating Hours: 7:30am to 5:30pm Mon - Fri Shift Differentials: Available for night, weekend, and additional shifts Location: SSM Health St. Mary's Retail Pharmacy - Jefferson City Job Summary: Assures the appropriate selection, dosing, administering and dispensing of medication orders. Provides supervision for actions of pharmacy technicians, residents, graduates and interns. Interacts with patients, physicians, and nurses concerning various clinical activities in order to provide proper drug therapy. Functions as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) in the absence of the Pharmacy Supervisor/Manager. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Verifies prescription orders and dispenses medications as ordered by ensuring the accuracy of entered prescription orders, by performing DUR/DUE, verifying drug/drug interactions and completing visual verification of orders.
