Job Title: Certified Pharmacy Technician Department: Outpatient Pharmacy Location: Varying 7 Rochester Regional Health outpatient pharmacies Hours Per Week: Per diem. Varying, available shifts dependent on pharmacy need. Schedule: Most pharmacies are open 9a-5p; earliest shift starting at 7a; latest shift until 8p. Occasional weekend 4-5 hour shifts. SUMMARY: Under pharmacist supervision, responds to and/or triages nursing phone calls, prepares medications orders, accurately delivers meds and restocks as necessary. Provide superior customer service by modeling the organizations values. Key Responsibilities: - Properly operate EMR System (Electronic Medical Record) - Rounds to the floors accurately and in a timely manner to deliver medications. - Recognizes medication names and medical abbreviations. - Ability to use the pharmacy information system to run reports and access basic knowledge of medication data. - Prepack bulk medicines by taking bulk medication and repackaging into individual, unit dose, size packaging.
