Overview We are seeking a motivated, creative individual to maintain and grow a social media community for the Institute for Disability Research, Policy and Practice at USU. The successful candidate will increase the awareness of the IDRPP in that state of Utah and nationally. This position requires a thorough knowledge of social media networks, applications, and trends. It also requires a solid understanding of digital analytics to help drive strategy and measure success. The successful candidate will craft and implement multimedia social media posts to engage new audiences online, share information on the IDRPP website, create growth both in quantity and quality of followers, and to expand awareness, including the implementation of new innovative methods to promote and build a solid reputation for the IDRPP on social media networks. The specialist should be knowledgeable about industry tools like scheduling services, photo and video editing software, use of stock photos, and ADA accessibility requirements for social and multimedia.
