Position Summary: As a Procurement Analyst at Vallen, you will play a key role in the development and execution of Vallen's Enterprise Direct Sourcing Strategy, aligned with organizational goals and profitability targets. This newly formed function is central to supporting the Category Management and Pricing teams, ensuring a unified and strategic approach to supplier cost management across the organization. You will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide cost savings through proactive sourcing initiatives and reactive cost management, providing negotiation support and analytics to enhance profitability and strengthen Vallen's competitive position in the market. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Enterprise Sourcing Strategy: Drive annual procurement events in partnership with Category Management, focused on reducing total cost of ownership. - Reactive Cost Management: Analyze annual and tariff related supplier cost changes to ensure validity and alignment with market and commodity trends.
