Department SSD Development Economics Center: Staff and Temporary Employees About the Department: The Development Innovation Lab at the University of Chicago uses the tools of economics to develop innovations with the potential to benefit millions of people in low- and middle-income countries. It was founded and is led by Nobel laureate Michael Kremer. Job Summary: The job provides business support within established procedures regarding office and location support activities. Identifies, enhances, and follows specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies for which the support is being provided by working autonomously within established procedures and practices. Ensures the correct functioning of facilities, office and/or business support services. The Development Innovation Lab is searching for a Part-Time Transcriber to support University Professor Michael Kremer, 2019 Nobel Laureate. The position plays a critical role in facilitating the communications of the Professor including memos, emails, notes, and talking points.
