1- Clinical skills 2- Patient/General Safety 3- Equipment Maintenance 4- Documentation/Communication 5- Other duties as assigned. 1- Clinical skills 2- Patient/General Safety 3- Equipment Maintenance 4- Documentation/Communication 5- Other duties as assigned. - Exhibits working knowledge of all MRI equipment and procedures. - Refers to physician's orders/chart for any special instructions that may be indicated. - Routinely questions the patient before procedure to obtain patient history. - Explains procedure completely to facilitate cooperation and alleviate anxiety. - Performs all procedures in an efficient and timely manner without compromising quality or the mission statement. - Coordinates MRI schedule with other areas to prevent patient waiting. - Corrects and reports accidents, incidents and safety hazards. - Uses PPE (personal protective equipment) when appropriate. - Is aware of potential chemical hazards and how to access MSDS information. - Uses good body mechanics when moving patients. - Adheres to infection control practices. - Reports all equipment problems to chief technologist and places service call through call center. - Complete Exam Data Entry fields on all exams...
