Job description

Overview USU Housing Landscape Laborer is responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of the landscape and grounds on the USU Housing campus, including all year landscape activity. Responsibilities: - Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, flower beds, etc. - Applies insecticides to rid grounds of small pests as needed - Applies fertilizers as needed - Prunes trees, trims shrubs, and pulls weeds - Rakes and mulches the grounds - Sprinkler repair and maintenance - Removes snow from sidewalks, approaches, and parking lots. - Sprays herbicides as needed - Perform as a team member on all job related tasks - Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Qualifications: - Must be 16 years or older. - Valid Utah driver's license to perform essential job responsibilities, such as driving university vehicles and transporting materials.
