Leidos tackles the most challenging national defense problems using advanced signal processing algorithms and data analytics. At our San Diego office, we have a dedicated and experienced team of Scientists and Engineers devoted to squeezing the last bit of information from every data set, and we are seeking a Signal Processing Intern. The Intern will have an interest in algorithm research, development, and implementation, and will also possesses a strong scientific curiosity and desire to learn new things. Primary Responsibilities: Work with a mentor to develop cutting edge signal processing and analysis algorithms for national defense. Work with a mentor to research cutting edge algorithms for radar noise reduction, detection, and characterization. Work with a mentor to conduct radar data analysis. Create efficient implementations in software and document results. Work collegially within a talented team of peers. Basic Qualifications: Currently a junior or senior in college working toward a bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
