Fitness Instructor: Full-time, Part-time and On-call

Job description

Overview Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking Fitness Instructors for our team. The Fitness Instructor leads, instructs and motivates individuals or groups in exercise activities in assigned PHS locations. This may include aquatic exercise activities if aquatic facilities are located on the assigned campus. The Fitness Instructor works with the Fitness Director to develop the curriculum and lesson plans necessary to ensure classes are delivered to address the wellness objectives of the participants. Additional responsibilities include: ensuring the facilities and equipment are operating safely, maintaining a high level of sanitation and cleanliness in the Fitness areas, and ensuring program and services are operated in accordance to policies and procedures as well as State and local regulations. SCHEDULE: Full-time, Part-Time and On-Call positions available Monday- Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm with occasional Saturdays. SITES SUPPORTED: Primary need is at Waverly Gardens, but hours may be available at other surrounding sites including: Harbor Crossing, The Farmstead, Scandia Shores and SummerHouse of Shoreview.
