Job Description Summary: The Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) including Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), work in collaboration with the surgeon in the operating room, whether hospital-based inpatient or same-day surgery setting, serving as a Surgery First Assist in a variety of specialties. Performs invasive procedures and requires a high level of independent clinical decision-making.
