Amentum is seeking a Fire Captain to join our team in Hawthorne, Nevada to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. The Fire Captain will work with the Assistant Fire Chief execute policies, follow guidance to achieve goals and objectives for the department and specifically for the assigned platoon. The Fire Captain will serve as the Entry Team Officer at all emergency incidents that may occur because of natural forces, major accidents, fire or explosions, oil and hazardous material spills, and/or accidents occurring in confined spaces. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. Duties and Responsibilities: Work with the Assistant Chief to plan and develop policies and establish goals for the Platoon. Primarily responsible for the supervision of one Fire Station and its assigned apparatus. Responds to all emergencies on the Depot with assigned engine company. When first to arrive, shall assume command until relieved by a senior Fire Officer. Act as the Fire Department Entry Team Officer at all emergencies.
