Job description

Thompson First Group is seeking Chemical Operator for temporary to hire opportunities for a local client in Glen Rock, PA. Candidates with a background working in production, manufacturing, warehouse or chemical operation roles are encouraged to apply. Essential Functions: - Follows all safety regulations to include: grounding, bonding, nitrogen inerting, use of PPE, and appropriate use of exhaust vents. - Wears appropriate clothing to include: ESD shoes, long pants, and long sleeves - Performs a variety of production tasks which include, but are not limited to: setting up equipment, adjusting and operating equipment, observing for proper functioning of equipment, and inspecting/testing of products. - Adds ingredients which require specific measurements, addition, and mixing techniques as required by procedures and batch records. - Performs visual inspection of all materials used and produced - Operates a variety of support equipment such as mixers, balances, pumps, mixers, mills, granulators, timers, and controllers - Accurately performs work assignments and computer transactions that are required to adjust inventory. - Accurately performs calculations using various units of measu...
