The hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 8am - 5pm. Job Summary: The Molecular Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures related to molecular biology and genetics. This role is crucial in supporting scientific research, clinical diagnostics, and other applications that involve nucleic acid analysis. The Molecular Laboratory Technician will work under the supervision of a laboratory manager and ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results. Duties/Responsibilities: Perform DNA and RNA extraction from various sample types using established protocols and techniques. Set up and conduct PCR assays for amplification of DNA sequences. This includes preparing reaction mixtures, thermal cycling, and analyzing results. Properly handle and store biological samples to maintain their integrity and minimize contamination.
