Part Time (40 hours/biweekly) Shift: Day/Evening/Nights: Position Function: Under the direction of the Diagnostic Supervisor, uses stationary or portable imaging modalities in providing patient imaging services. Insures patient positioning and preparation of facilities, equipment and supplies for patient services. Transfers patients between wheelchairs, stretchers, exam tables and patient units. Duties include bone densitometry, as well as all general radiographic procedures. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 1. Maintains minimal continuing education credits as required by ARRT and ISCD; proactively renews certifications/renewals before the due date without reminders from supervisor. 2. Responds appropriately to emergency situations. 3. Routinely demonstrates competency and adherence to all organizational safety directives and P&Ps including, but not limited to: Fire, “Right to Know” (MSDS), Emergency Preparedness, Infection Control, Life Safety (Utilities), and department specific safety procedures as evidenced in daily performance of job functions and successful response to drills and incidents. 4.
