We are currently seeking an experienced, dedicated and proactive tradesperson to join our maintenance team here at Edson Forest Products. As a key player in our sawmill maintenance team, you will be responsible to ensure the ongoing functionality and safety of our machinery and equipment. You'll Do: - Welding and gouging on a wide range of equipment and machinery - Performing repairs and rebuilding mill components - Fabrication and welding of multiple material types - Assisting other trades throughout the mill - Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times - Conducting routine inspections and addressing any maintenance issues promptly - Implementing preventive maintenance strategies to extend the lifespan of machinery You have: - Certified Trade Journeyperson - Ability to work independently and efficiently, with strong problem-solving skills - Proven experience in maintenance within a sawmill or similar industrial setting - Ability to read drawin...
