Mechanical Assembler (Mechanic Level)

Job description

As a Mechanical Assembler (Mechanic Level), you will fit and assemble components according to engineering diagrams and documents to build equipment that is dedicated to the rugged and challenging terrain of the forestry industry. To excel in this role, a combination of technical skills is required, including problem solving and strong mechanical aptitude. Experience with fluid power systems, engine systems, electrical and electronic systems as well as drive train systems is required. Location: 160 Consolidated Drive, Paris, ON Dedicated Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday Dedicated Afternoon Shift: 3:30am - 2:30am, Monday - Thursday Shift Premium: $3.00 per hour for afternoons Job Duties: - Read and thoroughly understand detailed assembly instructions, engineering diagrams, schematics, and parts lists to ensure meticulous assembly through fit and alignment. - Utilize hand, power, and pneumatic tools to complete assembly tasks. - Operate lifting devices such as cranes (overhead and/or jib) to complete large assembly installations. - Complete final machine assembly which may include decking, setting pressures and speed settings, as well as installing and programming attachmen...
