Position Title: Neurophysiology Tech I Department: Neurophysiology Job Description: Job Profile Summary Under direct supervision, assists in the performance of a variety of Neurophysiology procedures that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of nerve and brain disorders. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. Records and identifies various Neurophysiology data in various settings. After supervised orientation: obtains patient history, attaches patient electrodes and operates Neurophysiology equipment, during operation of equipment observe studies, analyzes wave graphs, makes documentations to indicate disorders, artifact, and responsible for settings adjustments. Cares for all age groups, sets-up and prepares patients for Neurophysiology studies, completes post study paperwork used to maintain patients files. Adheres to hospital / departmental guidelines and judgment during patient care, attends and participates in educational, departmental, and required meetings.
