Job description

Summary This Behavioral Specialist role will have expertise with children with neurodevelopmental disorders and autism. The candidate will have experience delivering ABA-based strategies for behavior management/skill development, someone who has experience with individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including those with significant support needs, as well as developing and implementing intervention strategies according to research protocols. This position is located in the Texas Medical Center. Job Duties: - Assists in the development, coordination, and implementation of research protocols to ensure high-quality data acquisition. - Implements behavioral intervention strategies to support participant's primarily children with neurodevelopmental disorders during research procedures. - Collaborates with physicians, researchers, and clinical staff to ensure participants cooperation and protocol adherence. - Accurately documents all participant interactions, procedures, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner. - Ensures compliance with institutional policies and all applicable federal and state regulations governing research and patient confidenti...
