The main objective for all Security personnel is to ensure a safe and secure environment for all clients, guests and staff. Essential duties and responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Security Supervisor, the laundry room attendant will provide a safe, clean, secure trauma-free environment and perform various laundry duties within The Midnight Mission Laundry Room. Protect life and property; observe, deter, record and report all activities that may threaten the safety and serenity of the facility. Intervene in all conflicts between guests, guests and staff, and all others, and work to de-escalate all conflicts. Make regular rounds of facility interior and exterior, including all rest rooms, dorms, shelters and perimeters. Control access and egress of facility; perform check-in and check-out procedures, issue guest badges, and discourage loitering around entrances.
