Company: Mercer Description: An exciting opportunity has come up for a Paralegal looking to develop their career within a leading investments and professional services firm. Based in our Belfast office this is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with plenty of opportunity to learn about private markets investing, this is a role for you. You will be joining a global business of investment professionals and will work closely with Mercer Alternatives legal, tax, compliance, and investment teams on a diverse range of private market transactions and related support. We will count on you to: - Track and manage workflow across multiple fund transactions – from the point of deal initiation through closing – involving coordination across multiple functional teams, as well as external counsel. - Assist the legal team in all aspects of a transaction, including review and negotiation of documentation, completion of subscription documents, preparation of internal reports and presentations to investment committees, closing and execution. - Provide legal support and advice to investmen...
