Description Job Title: Detailer: Job Summary: This position is responsible for creating detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection plans for structural steel components used in manufacturing and construction projects. This role ensures all drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant with project specifications, engineering standards, and industry codes. The Detailer works closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams to support efficient fabrication and installation processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Prepare detailed shop drawings for structural steel components, including beams, columns, trusses, connections, and miscellaneous steel. · Develop erection drawings and layout plans for field installation. · Interpret architectural and structural engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents. · Create accurate material lists (BOMs) and cut lists for fabrication. · Ensure all detailing work complies with AISC standards, project requirements, and company quality standards. · Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to resolve design or constructability issues. · Revise drawings based on feedback f...
