Adirondack Alliance Church in Saranac Lake, New York is seeking to fill the position of part-time (with the goal of becoming full-time), solo pastor for our twenty-member church. The successful candidate will have a passion for shepherding and Bible-based teaching while providing the vision and leadership desired as we grow in our walk with Jesus Christ. It is a priority of our church to welcome and support a pastor with a strong desire to become an active, integral member not only of our church but the greater community as well. He should feel a strong calling to reach out to the unchurched in our community, in particular young couples and singles. Also, our next pastor will enjoy working with and ministering to youth of all ages. Our church began as a house church in 1999 and became affiliated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance church in 2000. In those early years, we were blessed with several young families and the number of children outnumbered the adults. In more recent years the average age of our members has ticked upwards.
