Job description

As a Statistical Programmer, the candidate will support Mayo Clinic research by providing high-value analytical collaborations in the form of data manipulations, analysis and reporting. Current Statistical Programmer needs are focused on supporting clinical bioinformatics. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a major in bioinformatics, computer science, or related quantitative degrees is required. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential. Preferred qualifications include applied experience and/or coursework in programming (e.g., R, python), bioinformatics, and data analysis; commitment to customer service; basic knowledge of human physiology, genetics, and medical terminology; interest in professional growth and continuing education; and a GPA of 3.0 or greater.
