Job description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: - Support of NPI projects as they move through the development cycle. The goal is to ensure a smooth transition from R&D to production, collaborating with the PMO and R&D engineering groups. - Provide strategic technology and product insights and advice to the Director of Engineering and Sr. Staff of the Business Unit. - Provide guidance to customers on product function and performance, supporting the Product Engineering functions as needed. - Product development for an extension of a current product. A typical example is a customer specific unit with special testing or an extension of some portion of the operating performance from the current product. Technical guidance to the Product Development teams. - Provide high level of engineering response to production issues that cannot be managed by the manufacturing engineering staff. Provide problem solving support based on knowledge of the various subsystems and the design approach of the system. - Support product line team as an extended engineering member.
