Sr. Pharmacist Clinical Practice Specialist - Huntsville Central Pharmacy - ( 2602180 ) Description The mission of Correctional Managed Care is to address the healthcare needs of underserved patient populations within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD). JOB SUMMARY: Provides advanced professional and supervisory skills in support and management of clinical pharmacy programs. Works with leadership to plan, direct, implement clinical pharmacy services to provide high quality patient care by optimizing drug therapy, minimizing adverse effects, and reducing costs to the health system. May be responsible for the direct supervision of any combination of pharmacy technologists, pharmacy learners, pharmacists, or support staff who work within their scope of responsibility.
