Assists Lead Estimator on projects and leads smaller projects. Trains entry-level Estimators. Identifies design gaps and provides complete estimate. Assists with leading the preconstruction process. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Preconstruction: - Manages project estimates and coordinates with project team to manage the preconstruction process in a smooth and efficient manner. - Assists or leads communication with design team and compiles questions and discusses with architect and client in written communication to clarify any unknown areas in the project. - Participates in owner and project meetings. - Develops understanding of planning, permitting, utilities, and sequence of the entire project (preconstruction through warranty) with project scheduling. - Assists with development and coordination of preconstruction schedules to coordinate preconstruction tasks. - Develops ability to understa...
