Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: A ssists in the examination and treatment of patients by tracking patient information, documenting the medical record, assisting with in-office procedures and testing, administering medications, and providing patient and caregiver education. Duties are performed under the oversight and direction of professional clinical staff and providers as outlined in the Clinical Support Staff Scope of Practice document. Position Requirements: A: Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid CPR certification. Credentialed as a Medical Assistant through one of the following agencies: B. Education: High School Diploma or GED. Maintains current MA credentials (certification/registration). C: Experience: 3-5 years previous clinical experience. D. Special Qualifications: Basic knowledge of medical terminology required. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet applications required.
