Description JOB SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Practice Manager, and for clinical issues only the Provider or CNO, the Pediatric Practice Clinician will provide direct and indirect patient care in an office setting in accordance with TJC, federal, state, and local guidelines, organizational and departmental policies, and procedures. Will communicate with medical staff, other departments, and outside agencies while maintaining confidentiality. Position requires self-motivation, creativity, and capabilities to function in a semi-autonomous role within a fast pace and dynamic environment . STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE: - Conducted/Transported patients to the exam room and prepared the room and patient for examination. - Takes vital signs and records vitals in the chart. - Assists the Provider with the care and treatment of patients. - Obtains specimens via phlebotomy process and urine specimens by policy/procedure. - Administers medications according to established policies and procedures as directed by the Physician or mid-level practitioner. - Store/handle/transfer vaccines correctly in accordance with facility policy/procedure and by state, federal, and governing regulatio...
