Job Description Summary The Services Component Operation (SCO) Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for equipment upkeep, programming, process improvement and other key manufacturing related processes for the GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy Services business. This role will own and support multiple technical processes and equipment in the production of complex commercial nuclear plant components in a precision metal machine shop. This role is a fully onsite position based in Wilmington NC. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to - Embrace nuclear safety culture, where work is performed with an overriding priority on integrity, safety, and quality. Review, design, generate, update, and monitor manufacturing equipment, devices, systems, and processes Support development of metal working processes, tools, fixtures and operations for stainless steel fabrications. Maintain and modernize manufacturing techniques and process monitoring to predict and prevent process upsets and downtime and minimize scrap/waste generation.
