POSITION: Conversion Manager DEPARTMENT: Operations: REPORTS TO: Assistant General Manager/Director of Events FLSA STATUS: Exempt: Job Description Summary: The Conversion Manager is responsible for the daily activities required to run, maintain, and service the facility and/or the events by performing the following duties personally or through delegation to stagehands and conversion hands. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Create, plan, and implement all normal and necessary quality control documents. - Assist in supervising and scheduling all aspects of operations staff, including house staff and temporary labor, ensuring all tasks are completed to a satisfactory and effectively timely standard. - Serve as the lead person responsible for conversions on set-ups and changeovers. - Meet with clients and vendors on behalf of the organization and communicate needs on their behalf as needed. - Work during events and respond promptly to both scheduled and unexpected physical modifications or setup changes required for the event. - Implement facility rules, regulation policies and procedures. - Anticipate problems and appropriate solutions.
