Environmental Engineer – Industrial Wastewater Preferred Location: Greenville, SC: Experience Level: 3–10+ Years Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 DOE + 15–20% Bonus Potential Travel: 10–15% We are seeking a licensed Environmental Engineer to serve as a technical leader in the evaluation, design, permitting, and compliance of complex industrial wastewater pretreatment and treatment systems. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a client-facing environment, exercises independent engineering judgment, and enjoys solving technically challenging wastewater problems. You will support industrial facilities and consulting projects involving complex wastewater streams and regulatory frameworks — while mentoring junior staff and influencing project direction. What You’ll Do: - Lead process evaluation, selection, and design of industrial wastewater treatment and pretreatment systems - Develop and review Basis of Design (BOD) documents, hydraulic/process calculations, PFDs, and equipment specifications - Troubleshoot underperforming systems and implement corrective action plans - Prepare capital cost estimates, O&M evaluations, and lifecycle cost analyses - Serve as a technical lead duri...
